GARDENER'S HAND SCRUB
Spending the day working in your garden can be one of the most rewarding things you can do for yourself throughout the summer months. It's good for the soul, but not so good for the hands. Let's face it, getting down and dirty, leaves your hands dirty, rough and stained!

Because your hands are playing in the dirt for extended periods of time, you'll likely be washing them more often, but using regular soap can be very drying to the skin and can even cause cracking. So why not try this easy DIY recipe for a lovely hand scrub using some of my favourite Young Living products. Your hands will be super soft after using this to scrub the grime away!
The Luscious Lemon Foaming Hand Soap is a naturally derived plant based formula that will leave your hands feeling soft and supple. This product can be purchased in pump bottles and I highly recommend getting some while they're available, but for the purposes of the hand scrub recipe, I use the concentrated refill bottle, and you should grab one of those too! It smells so fresh and lemony!

These two essential oils are wonderful additions to the hand scrub because of the benefits of each of them. Lemon is well known for it's  super cleaning powers and amazing, fresh scent. Tea tree has some jaw dropping healing benefits and is so beneficial for the skin. It's a real bonus when your hand cleaner helps heal your hands too!

The sugar that I prefer to use in this scrub is organic cane sugar. It's a little chunkier than regular white sugar so it has super scrubability properties (I may have made that word up, don't judge me).

Now that we've talked about the key components of this fabulous hand scrub let's jump to the dang recipe, shall we:

GARDENER'S HAND SCRUB
2 cups sugar
4-5 tbsp YL concentrated foaming hand soap
1 tbsp carrier oil
10 drops YL lemon EO
10 drops YL Tea Tree EO

Combine all the ingredients and store in a glass jar.

This recipe is so simple to throw together and you'll be glad you have it on hand. Try it. you'll love it!
